The Orlando Magic picked up their third straight home victory Wednesday by defeating the Detroit Pistons, 112-98, in a spirited effort with several outstanding individual performances.
One of the notable plays, video of which is embedded in this post, backup center Kyle O`Quinn made came early in the second quarter. On a dive to the rim, the second-year center receives a pocket pass from Victor Oladipo, takes a power dribble to the basket, and then elevates for a one-handed dunk over the rotating Jonas Jerebko word. The basket gave Orlando a 32-28 lead over the visitors and prompted a Detroit timeout.
O'Quinn's dunk was one of his four baskets in Wednesday's win, but he contributed in other ways as well: he added five rebounds, an assist, two steals, and six blocks to his eight points.
