Watch: Tobias Harris forces overtime with clutch three-pointer

The Magic scored an improbable win on Wednesday, keyed by this Harris trey which forced overtime.

Tobias Harris made 13 baskets on Wednesday night, but none bigger than the three-pointer he drilled with 1.9 seconds remaining in regulation. That trey tied the Orlando Magic with the Milwaukee Bucks at 95 apiece and ultimately forced overtime, though he could have put the Magic ahead by one point had he made the free throw. The video is embedded above.

"I heard them screaming at the end, 'foul! foul!', and I just let it go," Harris said of his game-tying basket, on which he drew a foul from Bucks swingman Marquis Daniels. Milwaukee was attempting to put Orlando on the line for two foul shots in order to prevent it from tying the game with a three-pointer.

Whoops.

The Magic inbounded with five seconds to play, and Daniels gave the foul from behind after Harris had beaten him off the dribble with a right-to-left crossover. The officials ruled that Harris was in the act of shooting when Daniels tried to wrap him up, and confirmed that call by video review before awarding Harris the free throw.

"I should have made the free throw," said Harris, a 76.5 percent foul shooter since joining the Magic at the February 21st trade deadline. "I apologize for not making that free throw. I'll be working on my free throws a lot next practice."

Harris finished with 30 points, which mark ties a career high, and 19 boards, which mark sets a new career high.
