Against the Pistons on Friday, Magic guard J.J. Redick sank a three-pointer from the left wing to give Orlando a lead in the final minute.

J.J. Redick led the Orlando Magic to victory on Friday against the Detroit Pistons, scoring a team-best 23 points in his third consecutive start. His three-pointer with 42.8 seconds to play, shown in the video above, gave the Magic a 104-102 lead, an advantage which they would not relinquish.

Redick inbounded the ball from the left sideline to center Nikola Vučević, who was posted up against Greg Monroe on the left block. Power forward Glen Davis came to set a screen for Redick near the three-point arc. Redick juked as though he were going to go around the screen, and the fake fooled rookie defender Kyle Singler. Redick then cut hard to his left and found himself wide-open just above the left corner. Vučević kicked the ball back out, Redick rifled in the triple, and Orlando took the lead for good. Credit Magic coach Jacque Vaughn for drawing up a brilliant play, and credit the Magic for executing it to perfection.
