Screw The Media, I'm Gonna Make @#$% Up

I've had enough of the ring-around-the-rosy let's throw out any names possible for the LB/RB positions of the last week. Half those players probably never received a phone call (I'm looking at you,...

Jameer: no more heroes please! Just efficient clutch execution.

That's what I'm talking about. February 2007, it was the only time I got to see an NBA game. Brian hill was the coach and the Magic was trailing the Knicks with less than two minutes to go. And...

Don Nelson on Warriors Roundtable

March 31, 2009 Warriors Roundtable with Tim Roye and Coach Nelson GSOM'ers, this is a bit random, but I initially called in to talk to coach about his thoughts on the younger guys like Anthony...

Second Round Mock Draft and other Cowboy tidbits

I haven’t seen many Second-Round Mock Drafts but Scout.com has one up. Very interesting stuff. Chris Steuber, a draft analyst, has us taking Arkansas RB Felix Jones (first time I’ve seen that)...

Excellent Interviews - Mullin, Nelson, Baron

Chris Mullin -Q: Do you think it’s likely that you’ll use the $10M trade exception before it expires a few days after the draft? -MULLIN: For the right player, yeah. For the right difference-maker. -MULLIN: We’ll keep them, nd other decisions will be made. -Q: You’ll keep them no matter what? -MULLIN: We’ll keep them. -Q: You’ll match all offers for them? -MULLIN: Yes. Don Nelson and Baron Davis Baron -Question: You do want to come back to the Warriors, right? -DAVIS: I want to come back. I want to come back. There’s no doubt in my mind that I want to come back. I think you know that by the way I am with my teammates. My teammates know that. Nellie -Q: Have you enjoyed coaching as much this season? -NELSON: I sure have the last two years. I had a hard time in Dallas after Steve Nash left. I kind of fell out of love with the game, not having him and losing him the way we did took a little bit out of me. But I got it back here. I’ve had two great years. A lot of enjoyment. Hard work, yes, but a lot of enjoyment. And this young staff that I have… they really have done a great job developing our young guys. It’s not their fault that I haven’t played them, because they’ve developed them, and they’ll be ready to go next year.
