After scoring 20 points and playing a key role off the bench Sunday night, guard Gilbert Arenas definitely will play when the Orlando Magic host the Atlanta Hawks in Game 5 Tuesday night at Amway Center.
"I'm not stupid!" Stan Van Gundy said after the Magic completed practice [Monday].
When it comes to execution on offense, this year's Magic are last year's Hawks. Well, with one exception, Orlando coach Stan Van Gundy said.
"We don't have the Jamal Crawford or a Joe Johnson, guys who can break you down off the dribble," Van Gundy said in what seemed like a subtle swipe at his limited roster.
If [Dwight] Howard is happy about the time off before the series shifts to Atlanta for Game 3 on Friday, he won't show it. Just like he's trying to conceal the shoulder injury he either sustained or aggravated in the first half of Tuesday's game. Howard spent time with a trainer before the start of the second half having an ointment rubbed into his right shoulder.
[T]he bottom line is this. Playing [Dwight] Howard straight-up and taking away the three-point shooters is a strategy. Allowing Howard to score 46 points and hope his teammates shoot 8-34 is not.
