Magic Fans - Heat/Mavericks Finals Question
For me the NBA season ends with the Magic's last game. I still keep up with the post-season but I watch very little to none of it. This post-season I haven't watched a single game, primarily because of my disdain for LeBron...even though he only plays for one team. I am considering watching the game tonight in hopes of watching LeBron lose in the Finals. ********************* My question is this: Does anyone else share my feelings about any of the above and if so, are any of you going to watch the game tonight?
Why is Otis still in orlando?
Is there nobody better out there? The man is an idiot and is really screwing over the magic more and more everyday he is still in the FO. I think if we could get a legit GM maybe dwight will have incentive to stay. Your thoughts?

Blueprint for Otis
The only thing Otis should have on his mind when he tries to make trades is, Is this move going to help us beat the Heat. Thats all that matters at this point, we're going to have to go through the Heat for the next 5,6 years. The Heats only weaknesses are at PG and C. The C position we can dominate already, but we need a elite PG to pull it off. CP3 or D.Williams would be great, and then possibly a Tony Allen and Rudy gay. So frustrating such great playoff basketball and realizing how far away we are from being able to compete with these guys.
Keep the Faith
Magic Fans: Last time the Hawks won a playoff series in less than seven games was 1987. Ronald Regan was still president, the miami hurricanes won the national championship with jimmy johnson, the original Wall Street movie was released and our very own Dight Howard was only ONE YEAR OLD. Keep the faith, we will win tonight
so who didn't vote for Dwight in the DPOY ballot?
I'm assuming the votes are confidential, and no one's exactly gone out and said "I didn't vote for Dwight".. it's quite baffling, of course I'm biased, but outside of jealousy and a dislike of the Magic, I don't see why he wouldn't at least get a third place vote. I mean as much as I don't like the Cavs and Lebron, you can't deny his MVP award.
Robert Horry picks Magic in 6
He said it towards the beginning of tonight's NBA Fastbreak on ESPN2. At least we know with him, there isn't any ex-team bias.
Mine That Bird has won the 2009 Kentucky Derby
Second-biggest upset in race history. Join in the Dance, Rashard Lewis' horse, led early but didn't finish in the money. Calvin Borel has won his second Derby in three years (Street Sense, 2007)

SLAM: Your length and talent positions this team to be among the League elite. What is going to be the difference as you challenge for an NBA Championship?[Rashard Lewis]: We have to rebound better. We obviously play small with me playing the four. Sometime we can go big with Tony Battie at the four and leading Dwight at the five. We have to continue to be a good defensive team and become a better rebounding team. Those are the two keys to being an elite team. That’s what Boston did and they got a championship out of it.
One-On-One With Patrick Ewing
Mobley: So, do you have any interest in being a head coach?Ewing: Interest? Definitely. I don’t think any assistant coach in this league…[pauses] I think every assistant coach in this league aspires to be a head coach, unless they are older, and have already done it. Then, they just want to coach for the fun of it.
