The Orlando Magic. The team with the missing identity.

Remeber the most recent good ole days??. Ah yea the Dwight Howard days, yeah i said it DWIGHT HOWARD. That mamoth of a beast had us in the playoffs, versus the lakers of all people. In the NBA Finals. We can now find him anchoring a top notch defense in good ol houston. Ah yes, and on the sideline for those magic teams through 2008-2012. Mr. Stan van Gundy. They say you dont know whatcha got till its gone. So true. Ill tell you what i loved most about that team. it had an identity, it had swagger, it had a purpose, it had a plan. It was beautiful. let me refresh your memory. Close your eyes............ oh wait that wont work lol keep reading, ill explain. There was jameer nelson, a wily home grown veteran, standing 5''11 and there at his side stood 6'9-6'11, his height is debatable but stick with me,D. Howard. And this team won, alot. Thanks to its version of the spread offense. Howard was in the paint, flanked by shooters Ryan Anderson, Courtney lee, Vince Carter, and primetime Hedo Turkolu, and yes i did just call hedo turkolu primetime he was so good for the magic back then, and Rashad Lewis, All noted 3 point marksmen. Throw it down to Howard early, double teams start coming, pass the ball out, threes started raining from the sky in terror, magic win, the end.Don't belive me? Ask Lebron James. And as for the defense, shuttle everything to Howard and watch him dominate. That team was built for that style of play. So what about this current installment of the Magic? I'm not a coach so I dont know. All i know is this team doesn't know what it is doing; and guess what? We can tell
