Hey All,
This is my first ever post on this site, glad to join you all. Apologies if this post has been done elsewhere, but I couldn't find it in the recent posts.
Looking at the Magic's roster this season, I was wondering what everyone thought the Magic's first and second units should look like this coming season? Personally, I thought:
Starting:
PG: Payton
SG: Oladipo
SF: Harkless
PF: Frye
C: Vucevic
This lineup would start, with Harris coming off the bench early on to replace Harkless as sixth man. I know starting Payton straight off the bat may lead to mistakes, but it would likely be the best way for him to adapt to the NBA. This would also allow Oladipo to shift over to his natural position at the two. Hopefully Harkless could become a three point threat along with Frye. Then, for the first unit off the bench:
PG: Ridnour
SG: B.Gordon
SF: Fournier
PF: Harris
C: O'Quinn
This more experienced lineup off the bench could potentially work to settle things down should things get out of hand; over time, hopefully Aaron Gordon could find his way into the rotation here, possibly with Fournier moving over to the two, and Harris to the three.
I should say I'm fairly new to basketball (only been watching for a few months) and still getting used to the ins and outs, and was hoping to hear what my fellow Magic fans think the lineups should look like this coming season! Thanks for reading!
