The Orlando Magic announced Tuesday their plans to launch their own Magic FIT program Thursday, with first-round Draft choices Aaron Gordon and Elfrid Payton, as well as community ambassadors Nick Anderson and Bo Outlaw, in attendance.
Through the program--the first of its kind in Magic team history--the Magic aim "to promote health and wellness among youth," according to a press release.
At Thursday's event, Gordon, Payton, and other Magic representatives will lead more than 200 children from area community centers in a variety of basketball drills. They'll also speak about nutrition and the importance of making good dietary choices.
