2015 NBA Draft Primer Part One: Center Prospects

Hello everyone! One of my favorite aspects of being an NBA fan is the scouting of prospects. I love watching young, raw players mature physically as well as mentally while honing their craft. As of right now, I'm considering a three part draft primer. I'm planning on having part one focus on the center position, part two on small forwards, and part three on point guards. You might ask, why only those three positions? My answer is this, the order I laid out is what I suspect are our priorities in regards to need. I Just wanted to start by stating that it is my belief that Nik Vucevic is not in the long term plans for Rob Henningan's rebuild in Orlando. It is my opinion that he will be traded either at the deadline or on draft night in 2015. The Magic desperately need a rim protecting center. Luckily for the Magic and unlucky for Vuc, I think the 2015 draft is shaping up to be very deep at the center position. By my count there could be as many as six centers taken in the lottery next season. In an effort to start familiarizing everyone with these prospects I have linked some highlight videos below. I'm not going to get ahead of myself and start breaking them down by strengths, weaknesses or NBA comparisons. I just want to wet everyone's appetite by putting some names with faces. The only handicapping I will do is to break them down into tier's in regards to fit with the Magic.

Tier one: Myles Turner, Karl Towns, Marcus Lee

Tier two: Jahil Okafor, Dakari Johnson, Willey Cauley-Stein
