First off, I apologize to anyone who is offended by what I'm about to write, but given the amount hateful and negative comments on topics that I have written, I am going to justifiably gloat. Yes, I do like a lot of the talent that Rob Hennigan has stockpiled thus far in his tenure as Magic general manager. Yes, like emperor Palpatine in Star Wars I have foreseen many things! I predicted Victor Oladipo would be the Magic's selection in the 2013 draft several months ahead of time. In the fanpost I wrote i was ridiculed and pounded. My next prediction was a little read fanpost called Dewayne Dedmon the d league player Rob Hennigan must aqquire. The members that did read it mostly told me i was off my rocker and the Magic don't sign guys from the D league etc... Finally my most criticized prediction, the Magic's point guard of the future Elfrid Payton. I wrote several fanpost about Payton, calling for him to be the Magic's selection with the wonk pick. Once again the amount of ridicule that I endured was over the top to say the least. Look guys, I don't think that i am smarter than any of the great minds that inhabit the Pinstriped Post, but the one thing I have done, that many of you have failed to do is to identify the culture and the makeup that Rob Hennigan is trying to implement. It's fairly simple, He's looking for players with high character that are elite athletes that play hard at both ends of the floor! He is creating a team that plays a fast paced transition brand of basketball. You don't necessarily have to agree with it, but once you come to grips with it, you to will be able to have your finger on the pulse of the front office.
