The Orlando Magic announced Sunday that Jason Maxiell will not be available for that night's game against the Indiana Pacers. The team has excused him for personal reasons, but he will return for Wednesday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies.
Maxiell, 30, has appeared in 31 games for Orlando in the 2013/14 season. The veteran big man is averaging 3.5 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 0.6 blocks on 46.1 percent shooting from the field.
Since January 1st, Maxiell has made only nine appearances, including two starts, for Orlando as Kyle O`Quinn has surpassed him in the playing rotation.
The Magic, minus Maxiell, tip off against the Pacers at 6 PM Eastern.
