Clint Capela, Rob Hennigan's Serge Ibaka In This Years Draft

Clint Capela could be this year's international man of mystery. He could be very much to this draft, what Giannis Antetokounmpo was to last year's draft. He is a nineteen year old playing professionally with Chalon France. He reminds me of Serge Ibaka. Their body types are strikingly similar. He very much fits the mold of the new prototypical center in the NBA. The league is increasingly playing smaller lineups. Centers are asked to be athletic with high motors. They need to be able run the floor, while maintaining the ability defend the rim. Players like Anthony Davis, Nerlens Noel, and Joakim Noah fit this role.

Draftexpress list him at 6'10.5" with a wingspan of 7'3.5". He has great athleticism with a max vertical of 33 inches. Capela has a solid frame that can hold additional weight. He should be able to play center in the NBA. Check out the scouting video, let me know if you agree with the Ibaka comparison?

To everyone who is not a fan of draft post I sincerely apologize. My favorite things about the NBA are metrics and young prospects. With our team playing so poorly, looking forward to this years draft has brought me great enjoyment!
