Fun Facts With Magic Stats!

These Orlando Magic statistics are accurate as of January 10th for the 2013-2014 regular season. Apologies for not adding proof to each stat

In the 12-13 season, the Milwuakee backcourt of Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis shot a combined 40.8% from the field, which is 1.0% better than the starting backcourt of Jameer Nelson and Victor Oladipo this year

Victor Oladipo is shooting 29.9% from beyond the arc this season, which is 4.5% better than Jacque Vaughn's career record as a head coach

Maurice Harkless's per-game statistics during his rookie season are comparable to Paul George's rookie season per-game statistics. This season, Harkless's game has regressed, and his per-game statistics are now comparable to Corey Brewer's career per-game statistics

LeBron James has more losses in the playoffs (50) than Jacque Vaughn has wins in his head coaching career (30)

Five players in the league (Durant, James, Love, Paul, Lillard) each have more offensive win shares individually this season, than the entire Orlando Magic team combined

Victor Oladipo has a net offensive win shares of -0.9, good for 437th in the league out of 439 eligible players, tied with Cody Zeller (-0.9) and ahead of Anthony Bennett (-1.2)

Jason Maxiell has played almost twice as many minutes this season (434) than Kyle O'Quinn (219)

Romero Osby, whom the Magic drafted 51st overall in the 2013 NBA draft and subsequently released before the start of the regular season, is averaging 17.5 points and 6.9 rebounds on 44.7% shooting from the field and 42.2% from 3pt range through 11 games for the Maine Red Claws, and has been named to the D-League's All-Showcase team

In 26 games with the Magic last season, Tobias Harris scored 20 or more points nine times. In 15 games with the Magic this season, Harris has scored 20 or more points only once

Among players that have attempted at least 40 three pointers this season, Tobias Harris ranks 187th out of 188 eligible players in terms of three point percentage with 20.8% on 48 attempts, ahead of Antawn Jamison and behind Ersan Ilyasova

Among players averaging 13 points per game or greater this season, Glen Davis ranks 92nd out of 94 candidates in true shooting percentage, with a TS% of 47.5% on 13.3 PPG
