NBA free agency 2013: Devin Ebanks and Yakhouba Diawara pass on Magic, according to reports

Devin Ebanks - USA TODAY Sports

The veteran swingmen didn't sign with Orlando despite working out for it on Wednesday.

Despite drawing interest from the Orlando Magic, two veteran swingman who worked out for the team on Wednesday have chosen to sign with other teams.

Devin Ebanks, formerly of the Los Angeles Lakers, has reached an agreement to sign with the Dallas Mavericks, reports Eric Pincus of HOOPSWORLD. The West Virginia product owns career NBA averages of 3.6 points and 1.9 rebounds per game.

Alex Kennedy, a colleague of Pincus' at HOOPSWORLD, first reported Orlando's interest in Ebanks.

Yakhouba Diawara, as expected, has elected to return to Europe, where he's played since 2010 following a four-year stint in the NBA. Per RealGM's Shams Charania, the former Denver Nuggets and Miami Heat player signed with BCM Gravelines in the hopes of "competing for the league's championship."

Charania previously reported that Diawara was unlikely to return to the NBA without a guaranteed contract. The 31-year-old has NBA averages of 3.5 points and 1.7 boards per game.

Orlando has 14 players under contract, not counting second-round Draft choice Romero Osby. Training camp opens on October 1st. The search for more training-camp bodies continues.
