The 2013 NBA draft is less than a month away. The final draft order has been set and the picture has begun to focus. With Cleveland winning the rights to the first overall pick speculation has already begun that the pick is on the block.
These rumors hold even more validity when it's was widely reported that Cavs GM Chris Grant went fishing this spring for LaMarcus Aldridge. Apparently he wasn't using the right bait. It appears Cleveland is trying to placate Kyrie Irving with a win now culture.
If the Cavs do in fact play ball and deal the pick who are the most likely dance partners? It has been reported that both the Timberwolves and the Trailblazers could both be buyers. Both teams have been linked to IU star Victor Oladipo. Both have the ammunition. Derrick Williams, LeMarcus Aldridge could be the chips in play.
It seams even Flip Saunders is not immune to the Dipo man crush. He must have read the recent Dime Magazine article that compares Victor to yes the great Michael Jordan. The Wolves would "love" pardon the pun to place Oladipo next to Rubio. For Portland Aldridge is slightly out of place as far as his age in comparison with his piers on the roster.
It seems both team's could have serious motivation to make a move. A transaction that caters and cultivates there title aspirations in the short and long term futures. That's something Nerlens Noel just can't do! That is why Victor Oladipo could be the first name called on draft night!
