Hello OPP...I will make this short. I was reading an article on the Orlando Sentinel site that mentioned Nik Vucevic's participation in Eurobasket, and that he will playing along the side of Nikola Pekovic. I also realized that I remembered seeing that Pekovic is a FA this off-season. I was curious to everyone's thoughts on the possibility of using our 1st Rd pick on a PG (Trey Burke is my favorite), and then making a run at Pekovic to pair with Vucevic in the front court. This would give us a VERY scary group of young players, and make trading Glen Davis, Al Harrington, and Arron Afflalo make even more sense. I haven't tried to meddle around with scenarios to get this done, I'm just thinking of options to make a big leap next season. I haven't seen any indication that Hennigan is planning to take 3-5 years to put this team back into contention, so the combination of adding these pieces would give the transition a boost. Besides, if we add Pekovic, then we'll have "A Pair of 'Nik's'" !! LOL...I know that's corny, but whatever. Thoughts please, and thank you.
