The Orlando Magic host the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night for the first time since trading J.J. Redick, Gustavo Ayón, and Ish Smith to them. Tipoff is set for 7 PM Eastern on Fox Sports Florida in the Orlando market. The Orlando Pinstriped Post GameThread will appear at 5 PM in this StoryStream and on the cover.
Orlando's last time out: The Magic led the Cleveland Cavaliers by four points entering the fourth quarter of Sunday's game, but squandered that lead behind 6-of-24 shooting in the fourth quarter to end their five-game roadtrip winless. Tobias Harris had 26 points and 12 rebounds, while Nik Vučević posted 21 points, 21 boards, and two blocks. Alonzo Gee scored 19 on 7-of-12 shooting to lead Cleveland, which used a 10-0 scoring run early in the fourth quarter to take the lead for good.
Milwaukee's last time out: The Bucks' 94-83 loss to the Miami Heat on Tuesday was their third in their last four games, but Milwaukee has already secured a playoff seed, so its late-season slide won't matter too much. Brandon Jennings scored 30 in the Miami loss, but no other Buck had more than eight points. Miami, a potential first-round opponent of Milwaukee's, rested Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh, yet still got the easy win.
The last meeting: Monta Ellis have it all, and he put in on display in Milwaukee's come-from-behind win against the Magic on March 17th. The visiting Magic outscored Milwaukee in each of the first three periods to build an 11-point lead, only to watch as Ellis scored 25 of his game-high 39 points in the fourth quarter. The Bucks had 45 points in the final 12 minutes, stunning an Orlando team which has not enjoyed much success away from Amway Center in 2012/13.
