This is a very interesting research paper presented at this year's MIT Sloan Sports Conference, which outlines a new way of quantifying a defender's interior defense. The user "3.3.seconds" gave a very interesting comment, saying that this method is not without its flaws. For instance, PF rate must be accounted for the amount of times a defender sends an offensive player to the foul line. Also, Andrea Bargnani (lol) is identified as elite in one of the metrics presented here... Enjoy!
