Due to a stomach ailment, Andrew Nicholson might not be available for the Orlando Magic for Sunday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks. The rookie big man missed Friday's loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder because of the illness, leaving coach Jacque Vaughn with a shorter bench than he'd ordinarily have. Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel reports that Nicholson did not practice on Saturday.
Nicholson, 23, is averaging 8.1 points and 3.5 rebounds in 16.8 minutes per game, and his 53.8 percent shooting from the field leads the team. The emergence of Tobias Harris, acquired from the Bucks at the trading deadline, has reduced Nicholson's role and minutes. Since Vaughn made Harris the starting power forward, Nicholson played just 20 minutes over two games and earned a Did Not Play-Coach's Decision in another.
Orlando made Nicholson, a St. Bonaventure product, the 19th overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft. He has started 25 times in 61 overall appearances for Orlando.
