Entering Tuesday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers, the Orlando Magic were winless in their last 10 road games, winless in their last five games overall, and had an 0-14 record against squads from the Atlantic Division. Those trends changed for the better, however, as the Magic scored a 98-84 win against a flat Sixers team, sending the hosts to their sixth straight defeat.

Orlando put together a strong offensive performance despite getting to the foul line at a league-worst rate, not rebounding as many of its misses as it usually does, and turning the ball over more than is ideal. Instead, Orlando simply shot well from the field. The Magic's 53.9 percent mark from the floor was their second-best of the season. Of particular note are Andrew Nicholson and Tobias Harris, who combined to shoot 13-of-17 from the floor for 29 points.

The Magic also controlled the boards overall, though they didn't dominate on the offensive glass. They topped the Sixers in rebounding, 45-35, with Nikola Vučević doing the heavy lifting. The former Philly center grabbed 19 rebounds, or nearly four times as many as Spencer Hawes (one) and Lavoy Allen (four), his Sixers counterparts, had combined.
