The second-year big man sustained an injury to his right ankle Wednesday against the Milwaukee Bucks, reports Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel. O'Quinn checked out of the game with 1:24 to play in the third quarter and did not return. He did not practice Thursday or Friday, leaving his status for Saturday in question.
If O'Quinn is unable to play--and so far there's no indication, one way or another, as to his status--then Orlando might have to use Andrew Nicholson at center. Solomon Jones, the Magic's other backup big man, remains out indefinitely with a torn lateral meniscus in his left knee.
O'Quinn has appeared in each of Orlando's nine games to date, averaging 5.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks in 13.4 minutes.
