I know I'm going to get roasted for even mentioning this, but the idea popped into my head. Yahoo Sport's Marc Spears thinks that Lebron is highly likely to stay in Miami, with a small likelihood of moving back to Cleveland (link here). He goes on to add that Melo might go to the Lakers. Let me state unequivocally that I don't want Melo on the Magic. I don't feel his style of play is conducive to winning a championship.
IF! if... If the magic landed Wiggins, Randle, or Exum, and IF they were hyped even higher than they are right now... Would the Magic have the ability to sign Lebron to a max deal, to play his closing years with a rising, young, talented team?
I know how unlikely all of this is. This is a pipe dream with a 1% chance of taking place. I just wanted to vet the idea to see if anyone else saw the 1% chance that I do, and if that gave them a momentary warm fuzzy.
