Vaughn almost certainly will select an experienced person to be one of his lead assistant coaches. Vaughn has started meeting with individual players, including big man Glen Davis and point guard Jameer Nelson. Some players, including Davis and Nelson, started last season's abbreviated training camp out of shape following the NBA lockout. This year, there will be no excuses. Hennigan has to restock the Magic's scouting department after he fired six scouts July 24. He has made some progress, but it appears he still has to make some more hires. OH MY GOD!
