On NBA TV earlier today they aired an NBA Hardwood Classics episode of the April '93 game,
Magic vs.
Nets. What made that game amazing was not only the impressive run Orlando made in the closing minutes (Jeff Turner hit some major clutch threes toward the end), but also Nick Anderson scoring fifty points... off the bench... OFF THE BENCH. It's amazing just getting fifty points in a game as a starter, but off the bench? Even better... Mr. Devos and Mr. Martins, please explain to me again why Anderson's #25 is not hanging in the Amway rafters and even worse, you allowed Chris Poo-hon to piss and tarnish that number with his God awful air guitaring and dancing?
Oh, another thing. Even though back then the Nets weren't viewed as they are by Magic fans today, it was still rather satisfactory watching New Jersey have the lead and then blow it in the end.
