How realistic this is, I don't know but the trade machine says yes. You may have to tweak it here or there but the core is the same.
4 team trade - ORL, GSW, MIL, PHI
- Dwight Howard/JRICH to GSW
- JJ Reddick to MIL
- 1st rnd pick to either MIL or PHI
- Andrew Bogut to PHI
- Stephen Curry to ORL
- A. Biedrens to MIL
- 2014 1st rnd pick to the opposite of who ORL gives pick to
- Andre Igudula to ORL
Orlando aquires a solid defender, transition scorer and creator in Iggy, a pass 1st 3pt shooting PG in curry and an explosive star in Ellis. Nelson and turk can run the 2nd unit. That would be ridiculous. Even if curry gets hurt, Nelson can run the 1st unit. It's better than letting pie chris duhon run any unit. We'd lose Reddick but with Ellis at SG, we would just need to sign a 2nd unit SG or let turk run the 2 and harper or liggins play the 3 in the 2nd unit.
Our backcourt of Nicholson and Oquinn is big but unproven. We do have bodies to throw. Davis, in my opinion needs to stay on this team. He has heart and knows what it takes to win. He started our slogan in the playoffs last year, rallied our team, he does alot. Anderson is gone to me.
Back to the trade, MIL gets a 1st rnd pick and a younger, cheaper and better 3 point shooter in reddick to pair with Jennings and some depth at C.
PHI gets a 1st rnd pick, a long athletic PF in sanders and a solid rebounder/scorer in Bogut. That would be key especially after releasing Brand and Lou Williams opting out. They are about to make a big move. They definitely need to get bigger down low.
GSW lastly gets Dwight Howard just like they wanted and take on Richardson's contract.
The chances of this happening….IDK but I think this is our best move. Ellis is semi young, Iggy can guard superior stars like durant and lebron and curry to facilitate. We are long and quick with our 2nd unit too. You guys tell me what you think.
