The NBA Finals resume Thursday evening as the Oklahoma City Thunder. host the Miami Heat, looking to build on Tuesday's series-opening victory.
Kevin Durant scored 17 of his game-high 36 points in the fourth period to finish an Oklahoma City rally, as the Heat held a 13-point lead earlier in the game. LeBron James scored 30 for Miami--his best scoring output of his Finals career--but it simply wasn't enough. Dwyane Wade missed 12 of his 19 shots and scored just 19, squandering a 17-point outburst by defensive specialist Shane Battier.
Tipoff between the Thunder and the Heat is set for 9 PM on ABC.
