April 5th- The Orlando Magic are going into the end of the season with more pressure to win games, but winning may be hard to do with most of our games against playoff teams (Orlando Magic schedule). Not to mention the lingering injuries, consistency issues, and depth problems the Magic are facing. The Magic will have to start preparing for the playoffs that are just around the corner in late April and while the Magic are falling in the standings, other teams have taken advantage, and have passed the Magic in the standings. A few weeks ago, the Magic seemed to have the third seed locked and now they find themselves in the fifth seed. In the coming weeks, the Magic still have time to get back up the standings as they are closely packed with a bunch of teams fighting for seeds. When the playoffs come around do you believe the Magic will be up or down in the standings? What seed do you think the Magic will have, come playoff time?
The Orlando Magic are currently in contention for seeds #3-8, if you consider that the Chicago Bulls and Miami Heat have the seeds 1 and 2 locked up. In that case, we are fighting for seeds with the Indiana Pacers, Boston Celtics, Atlanta Hawks, Philadelphia 76ers, New York Knicks and maybe even the Milwaukee Bucks (if we totally tank). I personally believe there is no way we fall out of the playoffs, but if you believe that is the case you should comment and express your opinion. I will provide a few statistics, that I am sure you will find interesting, about the projection of the final standings and the probabilities of what seed the Magic may end up with. Once your done reading the stats, vote in the poll for what seed you believe the Magic will have, come playoff time.
