Following TGS and ignoring my essay, I decided to post a temporary placeholder to help out until Evan or Mike are can post a game recap. After the jump, I will talk about why Duhon is arguably the best point guard coming off the bench. I hope everyone gets my sarcasm without the troll face....
The Good :
According to NBA, every starter got at minimum +9 in +/- and we outrebounded them 46-33.
PG Jameer Nelson, who has played poorly for the majority of the seaon, contributed to the win with 10 assists while shooting 3-6 to score 8 points.
PG Chris Duhon, who should be a D-League mascot, played one of his "better" games finishing the night 4-5 from beyond the arc to score 12 points.
The Eh :
F/C Glen Davis should be averaging 10-15 points off the bench with " Will not shoot" Duhon and arguably the worst bench in the NBA. He scored only 2 points but took 5 shots to score and his airballs deserve a mention practically every game.
The Bad:
The team commited more turnovers and shot a team average of about 59% from the free throw line but Hack-A-Howard worked well as he was 6-14 from the line.
C Daniel Orton deserves a mention every night until he proves he should be on the roster. Yes, he suffered a season ending injury and was a late round pick but the guy should to be out performing "Airball" Davis ( Way cooler than Big Baby) or at least doing better than garbage time in the Magic's occasional blowouts. In Januray when we decided it was better to make him a UFA here's a comment from a OPP fan.
Bust.
Another smashing success for Otis.
