NBA All-Star 2012: Ryan Anderson, Five Others Confirmed for Three-Point Shootout Field
Orlando Magic power forward Ryan Anderson will compete in the Three-Point Shootout at All-Star Weekend 2012, the NBA officially announced today, confirming what Anderson said Friday. Anderson will represent the host team against defending champion James Jones of the Miami Heat, as well as four others: Jones' teammate Mario Chalmers; All-Star shooting guard Joe Johnson of the Atlanta Hawks; All-Star power forward Kevin Love of the Minnesota Timberwolves; and Anthony Morrow, the three-point accuracy leader among active players, of the New Jersey Nets.
Anderson becomes the sixth player in Magic history to represent Orlando in the Three-Point shootout, joining Dennis Scott (1991, 1996), Nick Anderson (1995), Pat Garrity (2001, 2003), Mike Miller (2002), and Rashard Lewis (2009). Of those five, Lewis came closest to winning, as he fell to Daequan Cook of the Heat in the final round.
The Three-Point Shootout is scheduled for Saturday, February 25th, at Amway Center, as part of All-Star Saturday Night. Coverage begins at 8 Eastern. The All-Star Saturday Night events are the Haier Shooting Stars competition, the Taco Bell Skills Challenge, the Three-Point Shootout, and the Sprite Slam Dunk competition.

GO RYAN !!!!
And whatever happens please don’t lose to a heat player !
Don't mind my spelling. I'm a Typo Master.
May Anderson be the one who wins it for us!!!
Learning is not compulsory, but have you learned anything today?
I'd love to see him win it.
Not only for him this year, but because he’d be automatically invited next year — which I expect him to be playing in the All-Star game as well by then as well.
Good luck Ryan!

Talking about JJ, I'm sure that Ryan will talk trash to him for a long time
for making the three-point shootout before him.

im sure...
he was already talking trash on how he became a starter before him hahahaha

I just hope it doesn't mess up his in-game stroke...
similar to baseball players who change their swing to compete in the home run derby, then have a crappy second half of the season.
