Time to pass ATL and IND and get closer to PHI. Magic by 8.

Learning is not compulsory, but have you learned anything today?

The Magic are 3 point favorites

…with an over/under of 178 1/2.

The 76ers average more points than the Magic (95.9 to 93.2), allow fewer points than the Magic (86.8 to 91.5), shoot better from the field than the Magic (45.8% to 43.3%), shoot free throws better than the Magic (72.2% to 65.6%), and allow a lower opposing team shooting percentage than the Magic (41.7% to 43.5%).

As well as the Magic shoot three pointers at 38.7%, the 76ers have the same three point percentage at 38.7%.

A win tonight over a quality 76ers team would solidify the Magic as a legit contender in the East and continue their stretch of playing well, as they have won 6 of their last 8 games following that disastrous stretch of losing 5 of 6 games.

Hopefully I get to see some Earl Clark on Iggy/Young tonight

Earl could really bother both players offensively

I probably know Judo! How many of you can make the same boast?

Young is too powerful for Hedo or QRich.

If he were just a bit taller he would be a solid PF.

I'm more worried about Lou Williams

Iggy’s only a third option for Philly these days.

Duhon should be able to contain Lou Williams

This should be a good game

by funny80sguy on Feb 15, 2012 7:02 PM EST reply actions

Some predictions

Dwight will go for 28 and 21, and will subsequently spend the postgame in the locker room complaining about Anderson not trusting him enough, due to Ryno taking 8 rebounds from him.

Glen Davis will make his first jumper. He will then miss 12 consecutive shots, including three double clutch shots from the bench.

Von Wafer will see time on the floor, namely because he will trip over Q Rich in the midst a 3 point celebration

Goukas and Steele will spend no less than 3 minutes breaking down their preferred pronunciation of Iguodala, taking any thunder Nikola Vucevic had coming into the game

Somewhere beyond the barricade, is there a world you long to see?

Are you Otis Smith?

Each year I hope the Warriors, Colts, Cavs, and the Magic get better yet the opposite happens.

List of pg better than Nelson

Nash, Rondo, Paul, Rubio,Calderon,Rose, WIlliams, Stephen Curry, Wall and more the list is not in order and Irving could do better than Nelson due to his scoring ability

Each year I hope the Warriors, Colts, Cavs, and the Magic get better yet the opposite happens.

by BobInBlue on Feb 15, 2012 8:05 PM EST reply actions

I could argue that I would take Nelson over Calderon, but yeah pretty accurate

If the Magic must trade Dwight, Hedo better stay. He needs to retire a Magic.

by funny80sguy on Feb 15, 2012 8:07 PM EST up reply actions

Calderon would be great in our system

Better 3 pt. shooter and he drives to pass. Bigger too which is a major negative against nelson

I probably know Judo! How many of you can make the same boast?

by Souwantmyname on Feb 15, 2012 8:09 PM EST up reply actions

I would take Nelson over Wall and Rubio though, I would rather have Irving though

not for the future, but just for this year. And where is Jeremy Lin?

ESPN is dissapoint

by Mr.Hoss on Feb 15, 2012 8:09 PM EST up reply actions

Houston's PG Lowery is better than Nelson as well

I probably know Judo! How many of you can make the same boast?

by Souwantmyname on Feb 15, 2012 8:12 PM EST up reply actions

There are plenty of better PG's, but Nelson knows the system.

That gives him the edge over the better players, but not elite tier of PG’s. The only PG who is seemingly “available” I would trade for is Nash.

by Mr.Hoss on Feb 15, 2012 8:16 PM EST up reply actions

I love what Lin is doing but

to be considered a good point guard he has to stop these 8 TO games yes 11 assists is good but 11:8 ratio is bad

Each year I hope the Warriors, Colts, Cavs, and the Magic get better yet the opposite happens.

by BobInBlue on Feb 15, 2012 8:42 PM EST up reply actions

long as he dishes 7 assists per game and take Davis shots who cares

Each year I hope the Warriors, Colts, Cavs, and the Magic get better yet the opposite happens.

by BobInBlue on Feb 15, 2012 8:10 PM EST up reply actions

He needs some better coaching.. he could develop into Derrick Rose

Washington is killing his future

That lineup SVG had in was awful in the mid 2nd quarter

At no point in the game can we not have Nelson or Hedo on the court

If they start losing directly becuase of Melo

I think they would consider a trade but it seems Lin is being more aggresive and call iso when they were setting a screen yesterday

Each year I hope the Warriors, Colts, Cavs, and the Magic get better yet the opposite happens.

If I were NY I would trade Melo for K-Mart and Luis Scola

by BobInBlue on Feb 15, 2012 9:09 PM EST reply actions

Does Howard get an assist for that?

If the Magic must trade Dwight, Hedo better stay. He needs to retire a Magic.

by funny80sguy on Feb 15, 2012 9:10 PM EST reply actions

It's whether 3 things happen that makes this season worthwhile

A) Howard stays
B) Jameer is consistent along w/ our team
C) We make a minor trade/sign of a player to help our bench

Each year I hope the Warriors, Colts, Cavs, and the Magic get better yet the opposite happens.

60% 3pt shooting? 15-25 from downtown? No team can compete against that.

Even more so when the Magic are playing good D.

The Orlando Magic: A team that flirts with Greatness, but Greatness just won't put out.
Caracas, Venezuela.

SVG is disappointed in Ryan Anderson's rebounding #'s

He had 2 tonight.. thats not great but he was chasing T.Young around the perimeter all night. Stan should probably chill out
