Crazy trade idea during the Magic @ Buck game

During the Orlando Magic vs Milwaukee Bucks game, I began to wonder what would be the best way to spend halftime. I began to wonder about crazy trades that the Magic could do to try and stay competitive after the inevitable post Howard era. Originally, I tried to make a trade event in which Dwight Howard will resign after the season is over as most NBA teams will not make any trade if Howard does not give a verbal commit to resigning with the organization but then I realized it doesn't have to make sense. After the jump, 2 trades that make sense mainly for the Magic.

Star-divide

The first trade is a 3 team trade of the Magic, Lakers, and the Warriors.

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=87vptow

The Orlando Magic receives : Biedrins for C (GSW), Curry for G (GSW), Goudelock for G ( LAL), and Morris for G (LAL)

The Lakers receives: Superman for C ( ORL) and Udoh for F (GSW)

The Warriors receives: Bynum for C ( LAL) and Barnes for F (LAL)

The second trade is also a 3 team trade with the Magic, Rockets, and Warriors

Trade Generator is being all crazy so it's more crazier xD...

Orlando gets : Martin SG (HOU), Biedrins C (HOU), Scola PF (HOU), Curry G (GSW)

Houston gets : Lee ( GSW), Turkoglu F (ORL), and Duhon G (ORL)

Warriors gets : Superman C ( ORL), Reddick G (ORL), Anderson F ( ORL), and Thaabeet C (HOU)

This post was mainly a time-wasting post and since there wasn't any recent fanpost I decided to share into my brain.

neither make any sense at all,

there are much better trades out there, if we are trading 12 there is no reason to have to give up reddick and anderson for good pieces, dumb dumb trades

These are both pretty bad.

The second one especially. Houston gives up Scola and Kevin Martin for David Lee, Turk’s contract AND Duhon’s contract? I don’t see that happening. Also, Dwight, JJ, and Ryan for Curry (with his ankle issues), Martin (one-dimensional even if he is great at that dimension), and Scola would make us so weak defensively. I shudder to think about it.

It's not meant to happen

Which is why it’s a crazy trade

Each year I hope the Warriors, Colts, Cavs, and the Magic get better yet the opposite happens.

But you said they make sense for the Magic.

I don’t think they do. My opinion.

Why would you keep trying to get Biedrins to Orlando?

The idea is to get rid of bad contracts

It seemed I couldn't get Curry

to Magic w/o a big contract and sense Howard leaving left a void I added Biedrins

why not just

trade:

Dwight and Q

For

Curry, Kwame/Biedrins, Udoh & Wright (plus a 1st maybe)

OR

Dwigth, JRich, Davis & Q

For

Lopez, Brooks, Okur, Humphries (plus their 1st round pick)

GS: We would get a very young all-star and potential superstar PG in Curry. The 7m expiring contract of Kwame and 2 young solid pieces in Wright and Udoh. That would give us a solid all-around team lacking only a center. We could then package our 1st + GS 1st and move up in the draft to aquire Andre Drummond or Anthony Davis or any of the many good centers in this years draft.

Nets: We would have a team very similar to that of the Nuggest with with solid starters at every single position (except maybe PG) and a Very solid bench, with also young players all over. We would get to dump the terrible contracts of JRich and Davis and would also get 18m in expiring contracts in Humphries and Okus. Then we could amnesty Hedos 11m and definitely be under the cap by a wide margin. At that point i would love for the magic to go after a PG in the draft, maybe Kendall Marshall (pure passer, comparable to Mark Jackson).

Either of these trades would obviously help the magic rebuild while shedding lots of the contract.

The amnesty is a one-time deal.

And we already used it on Gilbert.

MIGHT NOT BE SO CRAZY AFTER ALL!

There is just too much confussion going on right now with the magic organization. It’s time to put away the speculation and just wait to see what happens with Dwight and the magic. It is what it is right now and other fans such as myself would love to see a brighter out come to this magic frenzy. Right now I really don’t think this is a crazy trade idea with Stephen because this man may be able to bring us some dept. We all know he is a warrior on the floor which is what we need. This might no be so crazy after all.
