In advance of NBA All-Star Weekend 2012, the Orlando Magic and the NBA will be giving away free tickets to the NBA All-Star Jam Session this Sunday, February 12th, at Lake Eola. Beginning at 10 AM, 1000 tickets to the Jam Session will be placed in an oak tree at Lake Eola for fans to grab for free as part of the Giving Tree event. Magic rookie DeAndre Liggins will be part of the festivities.
Moreover, a free face-painter will be on hand. Every fan to get his or her face painted will receive a free Jam Session ticket.
The NBA All-Star Jam Session runs from February 23rd-26th at the Orange County Convention Center. Billed as "nonstop basketball action for all ages," the Jam Session allows fans to compete in skills challenges and score free autographs from NBA players past and present. Sunday's Jam Session ticket giveaway runs from 10 AM to 4 PM at Lake Eola Park, located at 100 N. Rosalind Avenue in Orlando.
