Jameer Nelson - Douglas Jones-US PRESSWIRE

The veteran point guard missed Friday's loss against the Nets. His availability for Sunday is in question

The Orlando Magic may find themselves without point guard Jameer Nelson in their first game against Dwight Howard since trading him to the Los Angeles Lakers in August, according to Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel. Nelson missed Friday's loss to the Brooklyn Nets due to Achilles' tendinitis, and the Magic list him as a "game-time decision" for Sunday.

Nelson participated in Sunday's practice with his Achilles' "heavily taped," says OrlandoMagic.com scribe John Denton. Robbins, for his part, doubts that Nelson will play.

Nelson has already missed seven games due to injury. Whenever Nelson has been unable to play, second-year pro E`Twaun Moore has started in his place. The Purdue product has averaged 13.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 4.4 assists in his seven starts, shooting 43.2 percent from the floor and a sizzling 46.7 percent from three-point range.
