Orlando has dropped each of its last three games and 10 of its last 13 overall, falling to 5-15 on the year. A major reason for its struggles is its lack of reliable outside shooting. In the Magic's last two losses, they've made three three-pointers in 26 attempts, a conversion rate of 11.5 percent. Lakers center Dwight Howard made as many threes in his last game as the Magic did.
The Lakers have won six of their last 10 games to improve to 8-8. Howard, the former Magic center, is averaging 18.6 points, 11.1 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.3 steals, and 2.8 blocked shots while shooting 60.9 percent from the field.
