Jameer Nelson "making progress" in return from hamstring injury

Orlando Magic point guard Jameer Nelson has played in just one of his team's three games so far due to a hamstring strain, but Nelson said Tuesday that he's "making progress" as he tries to return from the injury.

"I'm making progress, just getting treatment and drinking lots and lots of water," Nelson said, according to John Denton of OrlandoMagic.com "I don’t want to set a timetable (on a return), but I’m just going to continue to treat it, be smart about it and listen to the training staff."

Nelson is unlikely to play in Wednesday's contest against the Minnesota Timberwolves, giving E'Twaun Moore his third consecutive start at point guard. Moore, a second-year player, has averaged 16 points, four rebounds, and four assists as a starter, shooting 54.2 percent from the field and a sizzling 85.7 percent on three-pointers.
