Orlando Magic forward Hedo Turkoglu exited his team's game against the Denver Nuggets on Friday night in the third quarter with an apparent left-wrist injury. Türkoğlu, Orlando's starting small forward, had tallied six points, two rebounds, one assist, and two steals in his 17 minutes before leaving.
Türkoğlu left the game at the 8:03 mark of the third period. One possession earlier, he scored a driving layup on a fast break to extend Orlando's lead to 18 points. It's unclear if he suffered the injury on that play or on a different one.
Magic trainer Keon Weise could be seen escorting Türkoğlu to the locker room for treatment. Josh McRoberts replaced him in Orlando's lineup. It's unknown if he will return to the game.
Orlando led Denver by 21 points at halftime, but at the 2:31 mark of the third quarter, the Nuggets had trimmed their deficit to 10 points.
