The Orlando Magic's 2012/13 season begins Friday night at Amway Center when Orlando hosts the Denver Nuggets. Tipoff is et for 7 PM Eastern on Fox Sports Florida in the Orlando market.
The game marks the start of a new era in Orlando basketball: it represents Jacque Vaughn's first as coach and Rob Hennigan's first as general manager. And the Nuggets, despite scoring just 75 points in their opening-night loss, are a worthy foe: few teams are deeper or better suited to their coach's strengths.
