He's turning out to be quite a signing. Of all the former Celtic signings the Magic have recently acquired, who knew it would be the Purdue product who'd be delivering the goods?
Right now he's averaging 13 ppg, 47% on 3pts with 4 rpg and 4 apg on 36 mpg. People will point out he has a pretty high turnover rate at the moment but I think he's been very impressive considering his limitations. Even his preseason stats went well, but the litmus test will be how will he produce with less minutes when/if(?) all of the veterans are back. In the preseason it was Afflalo who was injured now it's Jameer.
On the other hand we have Ish Smith, who's something like 2/18 on field goal attempts. Van Gundy or Vaughn, if you can't shoot I don't think you're getting any minutes in the NBA.
So I tip my hat to E'twaun and hope he continues to play well.
