The Magic co-captain took responsibility for his team's slow start to the 2012/13 season.

Following the Orlando Magic's loss to the New York Knicks on Tuesday, Orlando's fifth straight defeat after a 2-0 start, forward Glen Davis took responsibility for his team's poor play to date. "It starts with me. It's my fault. It's my fault we are in this hole. It's my fault," Davis said, according to Brian Serra of MagicBasketballOnline.com.

The harsh self-evaluation comes after one of Davis' best performances of the season. The five-year veteran shot 5-of-5 from the floor to finish with 10 points, six rebounds, and three assists. Tuesday marked the first occasion on the young season in which he played within himself instead of forcing the action offensively.

Davis shares co-captain duties with point guard Jameer Nelson, who has missed all but one game to date due to a lingering right-hamstring strain.
