The Sioux Falls Skyforce, the Orlando Magic's NBA D-League affiliate, will hold tryouts at RDV Sportsplex on Saturday, October 13th.
Hoops fans in the Orlando area hoping to live the pro basketball dream are in luck.
The Orlando Magic's NBA D-League affiliate, the Sioux Falls Skyforce, have announced they will hold tryouts in Orlando on Saturday, October 13th, at RDV Sportsplex. Registration is set for 8 AM on Saturday morning, with the tryout slated to run from 9 AM-4 PM that same day. Entrants must pay a $150 registration fee, and can download the necessary registration forms here.
Sioux Falls has already held tryouts in Minneapolis and Philadelphia, home of the Timberwolves and 76ers, two other NBA teams affiliated with the Skyforce.They're also scheduled to hold tryout sessions in Miami--home of the Heat--and in Sioux Falls itself.
The Skyforce went 15-35 in the 2011/12 season and failed to qualify for postseason play. Former West Virginia standout Casey Mitchell led them in scoring with 19.6 points per game.
