Arron Afflalo made his first appearance for the Orlando Magic on Wednesday night, but his 10 points weren't enough for Orlando against the Memphis Grizzlies as it fell by a 115-100 final. J.J. Redick, Afflalo's backup, scored 23 points off the bench, but Memphis shot 51.1 percent from the field in the game and outscored the Magic, 27-14, in the final period to take the victory.
The game's highlight package shows off some brilliant passing by both teams, especially a no-look dish from All-Star center Marc Gasol to a cutting Zach Randolph for two points. One can also see that Orlando, at least on Wednesday, did not abandon the inside-out offensive principles Stan Van Gundy instilled in the club prior to his May dismissal: Afflalo and Glen Davis both pass out of the post to find three-point open shooters.
