Horrible selection of Magic players. Howard and Anderson should have been the nominees, maybe with Turk. Neither Nelson nor Richardson have played well enough to deserve a nomination.
Bob.
Yeah, Anderson makes way more sense than Nelson or JRich
Of course, none of those guys outside of Howard will be voted as starters, but still.
I'm torn. Is JJ Redick the White Mamba or the White Ray Allen?
Yeah Anderson has been Lights out
Im not even a Magic fan and he still would’ve gotten a vote form me this year. But this only proves what we already know. The All Star Game is nothing more than a popularity contest and not about who has performed the best throughout the season.

Brando Bass......really.....Brandon Bass on the ballot......smh
Please leave a message, I'm busy hiding my cat from TGS.
There is no defense in the All-Star Game, so that actually makes sense

How, he doesn't make great plays and won't pass to the players that will entertain us.

Yep, I was gonna say that... everyone gets to vote in I think one players not in the list
Out of fun I voted in Ryan last year.
If I recall the process correctly though, it’s only the starting five that’s voted in. In the East that pretty much votes itself – Rose, Wade, James, Garnett, Howard. Not too sure who’ll be the coach (probabbly Spoelstra) but he gets to choose his roster
Stoudemire could get it over Garnett
But, yeah.
I'm torn. Is JJ Redick the White Mamba or the White Ray Allen?
If Spo was the coach last season, I don't think he can be it again this year.
I don’t remember if he was or not, but I think it goes to the coach who’s team had the best record by the break, unless that coach was the coach the previous season.
You can't do it 2 years in a row, but...
Doc Rivers was the coach last year, so everyone is else is eligible.
Also, I’m pretty sure all of the coaches vote on the backups, not just the actual team’s coach (though I could be wrong on that).
I'm torn. Is JJ Redick the White Mamba or the White Ray Allen?
Anderson being left off is a result of the shortened season.
If the season started back in Oct. and he was playing this well this whole time, he’d have been included. He simply hasn’t had enough time to be recognized for what he’s doing.
That being said…I think Anderson AND Redick have a legit shot at “Most Improved Player”. Anderson has stepped up into a Starter role and flat out delivered. Redick has slowly increased his game and is just tearing it up in ways no one would have expected him to, even becoming a playmaker.

JJ more likely 6th man, I think
(lineup consistency pending)

it it was the media I would agree, but the coaches are normally pretty spot on when choosing.

Always nice to see a picture of some of the Magic Dancers
I’m definitely going to vote for Anderson as a write-in, if that can be done.
Chicago Blackhawks... 2010 Stanley Cup Champions, and future 2012 Champs
Chicago Bears... the end of the ten year Jerry Angelo Era after one NFC Title
Orlando Magic... 1995 and 2009 Eastern Conference Champions

the season's been going on for 2 weeks and they are nominating all-stars already?
that’s just plain stupid.
i got news for u orlando magic fans! im a magic fan 100%. but i thought about something this morning. ryan anderson maybe the only way dwight can go to LA. because with the way he is playing the team may want to build around him and with his game he has to have a dominant center next to him which means other than dwight the only other dominant post player is bynum, if i were orlando i would go after a ryan anderson supercharged……. kevin love. the shooter that ryan is plus a great rebounder! yes i am black. no offense…… they say white boys cant jump, but they sure can shoot! but the white boys are ballin in orlando. jj and ryan. put ryan on the bench and bring in kevin and we got something going. get westbrook. and were set for years. bynum, love, westbrook, reddick…… anderson off the bench!
wut?
with what assets? kevin love for von wafer swap?
when david kahn thinks your idea is crazy, it’s crazy.
I’m being snarky, but we don’t have the assets to do anything close to what you are suggesting.

Dear Mr. Godfrey- never say something like this again
"I'm a little dysfunctional
You're the problem, Please don't awakin me
And I'm that way cause back in the day
Most have forsaken me"
Nelson for Durant, Duhon for Cyber-Jordan, Hughes for Zombie Wilt Chamberlain and we are set for ages!
Cyber Jordan is Jordan but with robotic legs or something. The technology is new but I’ll take my chances on cyber legs over Duhon any day of the week.

well he is a restricted free agent this summer. they have the williams guy who they drafted at no.2 who really is a power foward and beasley. both originally plays the 4. if the price is too high they just may let love walk. westbrook is a restricted agent also….. simply a magic fan with hope! if dwight leaves it would hurt so sometimes u gotta have some hope that it will turn out okay. im just dreaming here
im just dreaming here
Of course, dreaming is permissible, but again, your scenarios are not very realistic. :)

Mr. Godfrey, what you’ve just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Bob.
