I think it's more to do with positions. Smack a center as much as you want, don't touch a guard though.

I really just hope that the schedules will really even out for everyone.
The Magic just have so many games in these 3 weeks and so much stupid travel.
Oh, and did you see that they can’t fly into the 2nd night of their back to back next Saturday in Indianapolis because of the Superbowl? They have to fly into Cincinatti and take a bus – AFTER playing a 7pm game on Friday.

It’s the same people that were playing well 2 weeks ago, but their heads are not there anymore. If they can figure it out, they can go back to playing like they were. If not, it’s time to trade and start firing people.

I understand and have no idea how they get out...
I’m just not ready to say blow it up just yet – if only because there isn’t much to blow it up for. I mean, aside from trading Dwight (which is devastating, but not the same as “blowing up” in my mind), what options do you really have to clear the slate?

but wth hell happened to the magic? they had a really good start and i thought they might be competing for a title in the shortened season. now they’re getting blown out by the hornets? did somebody get hurt or have their production fall off dramatically? google isnt really helping me.

couple things
Nelson (not that he’s been solid by any means this year) is injured, Hedo hasn’t been normal since he hurt his back several games ago and Anderson is a little banged up. Then like mblally said, I think the team has grown tired of Howard wanting out and then complaining that his team mates aren’t playing hard and being a team. It’s kind of telling that the team has actually been playing better ball when Howard has been on the bench.

You also forgot...
Anderson isn’t just banged up but has missed games. JRich has also missed games and been injured.
The Magic are also in the throes of a brutal section of the schedule. After their back-to-back-back they played 7 games in 10 days (with travel before all but 1) and are starting another section of 5 games in 7 days with travel before 4 of them.
These are excuses as all teams will have things like this, but it is definitely all happening at once for the Magic right now.
