Arron Afflalo and Kevin Durant - USA TODAY Sports
Orlando lost its sixth straight game on Friday night.
But Maurice Harkless had a break-out game in the loss, which the pop star Rebecca Black attended.
Harkless scored a career-high 25 points and tied his career-high with four blocks. The rookie had a solid night defending Kevin Durant up until the fourth quarter. Durant had 14 points through three quarters, but scored 11 in the fourth quarter thanks to the Thunder's ability to get to the free-throw line.
Harkless' corner three at the 4:01 allowed the Magic to tie the game at 62 apiece.
Starting shooting guard Arron Afflalo left the game with a right hamstring injury during the 9:08 mark. According to a Magic spokesperson, Afflalo wouldn't have been able to return the game and is to be re-evaluated at some point.
The Magic will try to break the Miami Heat's 25-game winning streak on Monday at 7 p.m.
