It has been over two years since the Magic have won a regular season game against the Hawks, their division rival. Wednesday was their ninth straight regular-season loss to Atlanta.

It has been over two years since the Orlando has beaten Atlanta, its division rival. Wednesday marks their ninth straight loss against the Hawks.

A dominant frontcourt of Josh Smith and Al Horford made mincemeat of Orlando. At the end of the third quarter, both Smith and Horford combined for 56 points, equalling the Magic's team total. Smith led all scorers with 30 points and added 10 rebounds and five assists.

Only two Magic players scored in double digits: Jameer Nelson and Andrew Nicholson tied for 10 points.

The Hawks killed the Magic on what felt like every possession by out-rebounding them, 54-41, including 17 offensive boards.

Orlando returns to action against the Charlotte Bobcats on Tuesday night at 7 p.m.
