I would’ve probably done the same thing. It was funny for everyone except Jameer and us Magic fans (and even I found it to be funny)

This reminds me of.
Tracy Mcgrady saying ‘it sure feels to to advance to the second round’ after going up to detroit 3-1.. we then proceeded to lose 3 games in a row by 20 points each.
I don't think he wanted to disrespect the Hawks or Pacers, it was just a comment.
Like if he had said to Kobe “catch you in the finals”, I wouldn’t take that as disrespect to the rest of the league. I think he meant “our teams are good” rather than “the other teams suck”.
