Blueprint for Otis
The only thing Otis should have on his mind when he tries to make trades is, Is this move going to help us beat the Heat. Thats all that matters at this point, we're going to have to go through the Heat for the next 5,6 years. The Heats only weaknesses are at PG and C. The C position we can dominate already, but we need a elite PG to pull it off. CP3 or D.Williams would be great, and then possibly a Tony Allen and Rudy gay. So frustrating such great playoff basketball and realizing how far away we are from being able to compete with these guys.

It's a very tricky thing focusing on one team to build another.
I think Orlando has proven that they can play good D with pretty much any roster as long as Dwight and Stan are around but have been strugglin’ finding their offensive persona the last couple of seasons. Even the Boston-Heat series showed that as much as defense wins championships, you still need to put the ball in the basket to win a game. I wouldn’t focus on the Heat but rather finding something to build or correct the personality of the team. One thing I know is that I hope for some changes even if there is not much room to operate cause the current roster didn’t exactly got my confidence going.
Don't mind my spelling. I'm a Typo Master.
I know...Im no GM but I had to vent, and after watching the Heat game it got me goin
Bc no matter what, we will have to go through them in the playoffs to get back to the ’Ship.
And yes, the roster has to be changed somehow…some how. It’s looking pretty bleak for us.
Memphis is not going to trade Rudy Gay.
And why should he leave? He has Ranolph and Gasol and Conley. If they trade Mayo for cash and let Battier’s contract expire, all the sudden they have about 11 million for Gasol. I like Gay, but it is going to be hard to get him. A player like Iguodala can be had if you get a third or fourth team to get Philly a center.

I thought that too but have read quite a few articles that state that Memphis has been playing more team basketball since his absence.
Before he was taking a very high percentage of their offensive shots, and with him gone Gasol, and Randolf have been able to establish themselves more.
I do understand what you’re saying, it’s mainly wishful thinking.
And I can’t say I would want Iguodala, as he was invisible in the series vs the Heat and our team already has enough people who disappear in the playoffs. Although…at the same time he would be a upgrade.
Read Hollinger's article.
That is guy who just started watching Memphis and did not watch them the whole season. Only guy who can/will be traded from Memphis is OJ Mayo. Rudy Gay has taken the next step. He Gasol, and Randolph can win a title within the next few years. We should definitely be looking at OJ Mayo. Do not let him go to Chicago. He would be a perfect fit next to Rose. Orlando should be looking at getting Mayo and Michael Beasley. That way if Dwight does leave, at least you have SOME young talent. Neither is a franchise player, but you could do worst as pieces to put next to a franchise player.
