Zach Lowe has details about the NBA's version of a "franchise tag," under a proposal it just offered to the players' union in the latest round of Collective Bargaining Agreement negotiations. Given Dwight Howard's pending free agency in the summer of 2012, the news has implications for the Orlando Magic.
