Magic Fans: Would you trade Dwight?

The Orlando Magic are in trouble. There's no denying it. They are in cap hell with some of their bad contracts (it is still beyond me why they picked up Hedo again) and have really no chance of drastically improving, like they need to in order to become a serious contender in the East again.

So would you, as fans, trade Dwight and start over?

Before you say no, hear me out.

If the Magic keep Dwight and try to win with him and his very lackluster supporting cast, there is at least a chance that he leaves. So is it better to make sure that you get something back for him instead of getting LeBron'd? Maybe. Say the Magic get knocked out of these playoffs in the first round. Sometime during the summer, Nets GM Billy King calls up Otis and offers him a signed-and-traded double-double guy in Kris Humphries, a developing offensive stud in Brook Lopez, a sharpshooter in Anthony Morrow, a rookie with promise in Damion James, two picks in a studly draft next year, and a huge trade exception and cap relief, AND be willing to take back Hedo with Dwight, would you take it?

Before you say no, hear me out.

The Magic would pick up a Center in the top half of the league right now, a guy who could replace some of Dwight's offense. They would pick up Humphries, a PF to replace Dwight's defense and toughness. Other pieces include valuable picks and role players. But also, the Magic could move forward without the hindrance of Hedo. A lineup of Jameer/Morrow/Anderson/Humphries/Lopez would still be a playoff team in a better position cap-wise.

So would you take a deal like this one to avoid getting LeBron'd, or are you willing to take the risk?
